STAG
is a social and support network for Trans Guys. We range in age from
the late teens to the late 50's and come from various
backgrounds. We are all in different stages of transitioning. No two guys
are alike in this group and we are proud of our diversity.
STAG is open to all FTM (female to male) and MTM (male to male)
transgender/ transsexual identifying males regardless of where they are
in the transition process.
STAG will meet every 4th Saturday of the month. Our meeting place is
The GLBT Center at 3400 Montrose Blvd., Suite 207 (click
here for map). We will meet from 5 to 6 PM. Check back here often and join the yahoo group to stay informed of other events.
This site was made to keep members informed of events and resources in
the community. It is also a good starting point for T Men out there in
the "reaching out" phase of transitioning. The STAG
community also hopes to spread awareness and knowledge about transgenderism.
Eventually this site hopes to include information vital to T Guys; such
as, bottom surgery, top surgery (chest surgery), testosterone, HRT
(hormone replacement therapy), GID (gender identity disorder), name
change issues, relationships, and issues regarding passing as
male.
